                                Periodic Table

The periodic table is more than just a chart of elements. It's a key to unlocking the secrets of the universe.

At its core, the periodic table is a tool for understanding the building blocks of matter. From the tiniest atoms to the largest molecules, every substance in the world can be broken down into its elemental components.

Fast forward to the 19th century, when scientists started to discover new elements at an unprecedented rate. But how could they make sense of all these new discoveries? That's where Dmitri Mendeleev comes in. He was the first to organize the elements into a logical pattern, based on their atomic weight and chemical properties. This became known as the periodic table, and it revolutionized the field of chemistry.

Hydrogen

Hydrogen is a chemical element with atomic number 1 and the symbol H on the periodic table.

The name "hydrogen" comes from the Greek words "hydro" (meaning water) and "genes" (meaning generator).
